YOUR NEW ROLE Our aim is to ensure our retail products highlight our values and cultivate a lasting brand identity that resonates with both visitors and the wider community. The Retail & Licensing Product Manager will primarily focus on building the Sydney Opera House brand to wider audiences through new product licensing opportunities, whilst overseeing existing product licensing agreements. The role will also support widening the scope of retail activities on-site across performance, event and corporate channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail management, licensing, and brand partnerships, and be passionate about delivering memorable experiences to our visitors through high-quality, exclusive products Further detailed information about the role and its requirements can be obtained from the role description. ARE YOU THE ONE? The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience (5 years) in retail management or licensing, ideally within a high-profile or visitor attraction environment. Strong understanding of licensing agreements, product development processes, and retail operations. Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with external partners and internal teams. Creative thinker with a passion for delivering unique and high-quality products that enhance the visitor experience. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to drive decisions. Familiarity with digital retail platforms and e-commerce strategies is beneficial but not essential. Ability to balance multiple priorities and projects at the same time. Resilience when dealing with new and challenging tasks and creating change.
