As a Software engineer, you will be part of a squad working with our “Search and Find” Crew which is responsible to provide personalized experiences throughout the early stages of purchasing a home and securing a loan, pre-empting our customers’ needs and making the process intuitive, seamless and enjoyable. Ultimately, you'll be in the Digital HB Tools squad which maintains and enhances a range of state-of-the-art tools that streamline the home buying experience. This includes working on the latest tech such as .Net 8, React, DP2 (Azure), DHP (AWS). You’ll be responsible for full-stack development on property search tools, a suite of online calculators for repayment, refinance, borrowing and stamp duty, and calendaring tools for scheduling home loan appointments. We’re interested in hearing from people who - Are full-stack software engineers experienced in the full software development lifecycle using Agile practices (Solution Design, DevOps, Security etc.) - Have expertise designing, building, deploying and maintaining great software solutions - Have recent hands-on experience with building high traffic APIs with modern stack including .Net Core - Ideally has been trained on Application Security (although not essential) - Actively are involved in continuous learning, experimentation and innovation, ready to apply and promote industry best patterns and practices - Enjoy mentoring and developing more junior engineers Skills We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks.
