More About the Role at Brunel About This Role The succesful person will execute the plans, designs and oversees the delivery of new facilities (including utility systems) and the reconfiguration and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. The succesful candidate will be responsible for gathering and reviewing data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Supports the preparation of bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities and equipment acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Commissions and qualifies or directs the commissioning and qualification of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. \ Responsible for planning and managing smaller capital projects related to construction activities \ Provide technical engineering support for PLC's, Laboratory, Corporate Office and Plasma Collection Centers \ Point of contact for internal subject matter experts and external Design & Construct organizations \ Coordinates/oversees all aspects of the project lifecycle, including preliminary project plan development, scheduling and tasking internal resources, issues management, budgeting/forecasting Requirements Requirements: \ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction preferred \ Technical experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry may be considered in lieu of an Engineering degree \ Experience in engineering or construction project management \ Experience managing multiple projects in remote locations \ Experience in a regulated environment \ Analysis and Project definition experience \ Strong communication skills with customers, design teams, contractors, and management \ Good problem solving, technical learning, time management and prioritizing skills \ Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility Benefits: \ 12 month fixed term contract \ Salary sacrificing \ Employee Assistance Program (EAP) \ Corporate discounts Benefits About Brunel: Brunel is a recruitment and flexible workforce solution provider which connects talented people with opportunities throughout Australasia and around the world.
