About the Job About the role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Systems Engineering Team Leader to lead our IT Systems Engineer team. In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee the availability, operation, installation, and maintenance of Windows Servers, Unix Servers, and Data Storage Management. With a strong focus on people leadership, you will drive team performance to meet customer needs efficiently and effectively while aligning with the strategic direction of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include managing team performance, fostering knowledge sharing, and mentoring staff to deliver high-quality outcomes. You’ll also contribute to business improvement by analysing and enhancing IT systems, staying ahead of emerging technologies, and ensuring operational effectiveness through compliance, training, and robust continuity planning. Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in service delivery by developing strong relationships with stakeholders, managing system installations and support, and driving successful project delivery. If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact and lead a high-performing team, we’d love to hear from you About You To excel in this role, you should possess: Relevant IT qualification or extensive experience in infrastructure and storage, with expertise in Windows/UNIX server environments and system administration. Strong knowledge of IT Service Management principles and frameworks. Proven leadership and management skills, including coaching, motivating, and developing teams, managing resources, and driving organisational change. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders effectively. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
