You will assist the Executive Officer on strategic planning, financial control, preparation of budgets and reporting on performance, process efficiencies, workplace health and safety and ensuring all works are conducted in accordance with the St Vincent de Paul Society policies and procedures. Please note the Rockhampton Queensland Diocese covers a geographical area from Bundaberg to Mackay . This is a Permanent Full-time Retail Operations Manager (38 hours per week ) role based in Rockhampton. Skills And Experiences What you’ll bring: Relevant Tertiary or TAFE Qualification or equivalent in Business Management in Retail environment Demonstrated experience in retail management for a minimum 5 years People Management experience and communicating with multiple stakeholders Understanding and ability to effectively use a computer whilst demonstrating ability in MS Office programs Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude, with a willingness to learn Effective communication and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentially on information at all times Demonstrate genuine respect for all people regardless of their situation Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and an ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society Understanding of risk management principles including current WHS legislation and regulations Ready to apply?
