The Marketing Communications Branch are recruiting an APS5 Graphic Designer who is enthusiastic about a meaningful role that contributes to the NDIA's objectives to build a world class Scheme. As a branch we oversee the NDIA's strategic communications and marketing initiatives to ensure our messages are reaching our audience across various broadcast channels. Our aim is to provide clear and impactful communications that guide individuals through the Scheme and ensure they feel supported throughout their journey. We manage the NDIA's communications channels including the NDIS website and create targeted communications to provide support during times of change. We also deliver marketing activities that provide communications to participants, providers, NDIS staff, and the community. Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated advanced technical skills and experience in design as well as expertise in stakeholder management. The key duties of the position include The APS5 Graphic Designer role plays a key delivery role, often working on several projects at once. The role requires sound knowledge of strategic brief interpretation and looks to develop a range of quality accessible options and recommendations for each brief. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Designing a wide range of high-quality, clear and accessible collateral that meets the needs of participants and other audiences. This includes developing design that aligns with Agency branding including hard copy print and digital communications collateral and elements, such as strategies, guidance material, reports, brochures, booklets and icons. Delivering high quality accessible assets supported by industry grade skills in the Adobe Create Suite and a high level of attention to detail. Providing strategic and considered creative advice on communication activities and strategies. Desirable for the role: 5 years' experience in a similar role/s Highly developed skills in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG compliance).
