About the role Physician Training is responsible for overseeing the training and education of Junior Medical Staff who are members of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and are undertaking their training at Eastern Health. The key responsibility for this position is to provide administrative support to Basic Physician Training (BPT) under the direction of the Directors’ of Physician Education and BPT coordinator. The successful candidate will be involved in the support of all administrative aspects of the Basic Physician Training Program at Eastern Health including administrative support related to recruitment, personnel, training and liaising with the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP). As well as administrative support for Clinical Examinations that are held on various Eastern Health campuses. About you To be successful in this role you will possess: Experience of working in an administration environment preferably in a Healthcare environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with doctors at various levels Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple projects to meet deadlines Intermediate computer skills with competence in the use of Microsoft programs Demonstrated ability to work within a team as well at times with limited supervision Demonstrated initiative and ability to follow up Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
