New Opportunity in a Project Administrator role located in Burleigh Heads Your new company The client is a family owned and operated business, with offices located across Australia. Delivering a service that will be difficult to find elsewhere, we provide all of your building and maintenance requirements including carpentry and building, maintenance and repairs, plumbing, floor restoration, commercial cleaning, gardening and landscaping, painting and decorating, electrical services and pest control. Your new role Within our head office there is an opportunity for a highly motivated and organised individua to join our team. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, you will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with work requests for our scheduled work, liaising with traders and subcontractors and managing client's relationships.The role will also include: Answering calls first point of contact on our front desk Liaising with clients to understand service requirements and updating scheduled contacts to ensure requests are met Assisting Schedulers to maintain the scheduling database by ensuring job details are updated regularly and scheduled services are undertaken Liaising with management regarding jobs and being proactive in providing solutions and resolutions where possible Australias 1 job site Managing the entry and updating of all scheduled works and further works Updating, investigating and following up job queries/ gathering of information to ensure the scheduling team have all available information Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information; general administration duties - filing, copying e.t.c What you'll need to succeed Minimum 2 years in a similar office coordination role Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills A high degree of initiative, takes ownership of issues and demonstrates a "can do" attitude. High attention to detail Ability to stay calm under pressure Methodical and thorough approach to work Experience using a variety of computer software packages including MS Office. Team player that can also work autonomously Experience in construction or maintenance would be highly advantageous. Coordination/scheduling experience would be advantageous. Current driving licence.
