About the role We have a permanent opportunity for a Technical Advisor – Electrical Construction within our construction assurance team in Project Management. You’ll be responsible for providing technical and supervisory support for delivery of capital projects across WA. This role will be based in our Leederville office reporting to the Team Leader – Electrical Assurance. What the role will involve Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver an operational and fully functional asset to the Project Manager for handover to client Review designs and tender documents and provide comments in terms of constructability, operability, and maintainability of assets Liaise with contractors, sub-contractors and other service providers such as Western Power Carry out inspection and testing at manufacturers’ premises and on construction sites Carry out / witness the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) Administer contracts for electrical equipment supply Key skills and experience Trade Certificate or an appropriate post-secondary qualification in a relevant field Electrical Worker’s Licence endorsed “Electrician’s Licence” Substantial, varied, trade experience in construction, commissioning, and maintenance support of electrical equipment and systems in the water or process industries, including high voltage, power and process control Considerable experience in a supervisory role in installation and commissioning Apply: If you are interested in the above opportunity, please submit a covering letter and resume that best demonstrates your ability to meet the requirements of the role.
