Nextt Toowoomba are seeking compassionate and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team in Highfields We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to provide 24/7 care for a male client transitioning from hospital to a new villa in Highfields. This is a deeply rewarding opportunity to support an individual with complex care needs resulting from road traffic trauma. Key Responsibilities Mobility assistance, including hoist transfers Pressure care management Meal preparation and support Personal care, including continence management Medication administration Supporting daily living tasks and facilitating community access Available Shifts We offer consistent part-time and casual rosters, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and active night shifts. Please note that all shifts must be completed in full by the same support worker, unfortunately no amendments are available. PPT 8 55.5 hours per fortnight Week 1: Monday 6:00 AM to 1300 PM - 7 hours Tuesday 1500 PM to 6:00 AM (sleepover 2200 PM to 6:00 AM) - 7 hours Wednesday 1700 PM to 2200 PM - 5 hours Thursday 2200 PM to 6:00 AM (active) - 8 hours Saturday 6:00 AM to 1400 PM - 8 hours Week 2: Monday 8:00 AM to 1600 PM – 8 hours Wednesday 8:00 AM to 1600 PM - 8 hours Friday 12:30 PM to 1700 PM - 4.5 hours __________________________________________________ CAS 10 34.5 hours per fortnight Week 1: Friday 1500 PM to 7:00 AM (sleepover 2200 PM to 6:00 AM) – 8 hours Saturday 2200 PM to 6:00 AM (active) – 8 hours Week 2: Tuesday 1500 PM to 2200 PM – 7 hours Saturday 10:00 AM to 1630 PM - 6.5 hours Sunday 1700 PM to 6:00 AM (sleepover 2200 PM to 6:00 AM) - 5 hours __________________________________________________ Pay Rates (SCHADS Award) Part-Time - Plus annual and sick leave: Day: $33.03/hour Afternoon: $37.16/hour Active night: $37.98/hour Saturday: $49.55/hour Sunday: $66.06/hour Public holiday: $82.58/hour (plus annual and sick leave) Casual - includes 25% loading: Day: $33.96/hour Afternoon: $37.36/hour Active night: $38.04/hour Saturday: $47.55/hour Sunday: $61.13/hour Public holiday: $74.72/hour (includes 25% casual loading) Essential Requirements Current First Aid and CPR certification Valid driver’s licence and vehicle with comprehensive insurance QLD Blue Card NDIS Worker Screening Check / QLD Yellow Card Completion of NDIS Quality, Safety, and You modules Why Work with Us?
