About this work area As a Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions. • Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth. • Being an expert and passionate about the IKEA product range; and actively learning about their features and benefits. • Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced. • Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality. • Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment. As a Sales Co-worker (Bedrooms) your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Approach arriving and browsing customers. Identify their overall need to support them in the best way by asking the right questions. • Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth. • Prepare product presentation and secure merchandising basics. Ensure all customer material and digital solutions are ready to use - to give customers a positive shopping experience. • Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment. • Stay knowledgeable about in-store specials, delivery options, product features and benefits. As a Product Recovery & Quality Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions. • Present IKEA products in As-Is using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the store. • Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging them back into a saleable condition. • Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality. • Support the quality work in the store to constantly improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products. • Always consider the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products. • Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that cultivates a strong understanding of product recovery, quality and compliance processes. • Maintaining a safe and secure environment within the IKEA store, always ensuring the well-being of both customers and co-workers.
