More About the Role at 3P Learning As a UX/UI Designer within our Literacy product team, you'll be responsible for creating user-friendly, visually appealing interfaces that meet the needs of our users while staying aligned with business objectives and brand guidelines. What you’ll do: - Design user-friendly, visually appealing interfaces for web applications. - Collaborate proactively with stakeholders (Product Managers, Business Analysts, Development Team) to gather and translate requirements into impactful designs, particularly when briefs are evolving. - Maintain and enhance design systems for consistency across all touchpoints. - Develop UI mock-ups, prototypes and design assets that bring clarity to features and functionality, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. - Ensure designs are accessible and meet relevant standards, including WCAG guidelines. - Support the design and development teams by providing design assets and resolving implementation queries. - Create and maintain documentation and style guides to ensure consistency and clarity across all design work. - Solve problems creatively to adhere to budget and time constraints. What you’ll bring to the team: - A relevant graduate qualification in UX/UI Design. - 2-4 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong focus on visual and interaction design. - A solid understanding of UX principles to inform design decisions. - Expertise in typography, colour theory and layout principles. - Knowledge of web standards, responsive design techniques, and accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG). - Familiarity with building and maintaining design systems or component libraries. - Experience understanding customer experiences and journeys within a SaaS business (SaaS experience is highly desirable). - Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. - Experience collaborating with developers, understanding technical constraints, and contributing to implementation. - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to remain flexible and adaptable while managing competing priorities. - A growth mindset – open to feedback and always looking for ways to improve. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - The ability to work independently and iterate quickly on designs based on feedback. - Bonus: Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS concepts and skills or interest in data visualisation.
