More About the Role at Commonwealth Bank Do work that matters As a UI Designer using our Lumen Design System, you’ll be working alongside one of the biggest digital teams in the southern hemisphere. You’ll be collaborating daily with engineers, designers and stakeholders to advocate and champion user interface design across our retail assets—The Commbank app, CommBank and Netbank. You'll likely have a base skillset of graphic, UI or experience design craft and working in an agile environment, but we’d really love to meet people with the following skills: · An strong interest around user interface/graphic design and interaction design skills · Experience creating User Interfaces, Contribution/user of design systems, prototyping, motion design, style guides & specs · A good understanding of the design process and a litany of tools at your disposal: motion graphics, sketching, and pixel-perfect screen designs · A passion for big ideas and storytelling. · A degree in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or similar field related to Human-Computer Interaction or equivalent experience See yourself in our team The Experience Chapter Design team is a centre of excellence which sits within in the CBA Retail arm of the business. The team is comprised of UX Designers, User Interface (UI) Designers, UX Researchers, Usability and Accessibility experts. The Digital Team is responsible for the Group’s online, tablet and mobile experiences for direct-to-consumer businesses (including retail banking, small business and retail wealth products). Our properties include Commbank.com.au, Netbank.com.au, CommBank mobile, CommBiz, CommBiz mobile and social media apps. What you will work on This role will see you designing and giving creative direction across the digital platforms used by our retail banking clients. You will work across highly visible projects that will provide unique challenges and ongoing variety. You will work across a range of products across the CBA app and NetBank.
