About Your New Role We are seeking resilient and patient individuals to care for people with disabilities in their daily lives. As a Disability Support Worker in Currumbin, you'll provide support to help customers navigate challenges and reach their potential. Every day will be different, but your duties may include assistance with personal care, household duties, cooking and medication management. Above all, you will provide companionship and build meaningful, caring relationships. About You Demonstrate high levels of expertise in complex support environments including In-Home Supports Experience in manual handling and providing personal care including bathing, toileting and dressing Provide effective communication and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders Experience with PEG feeding, medication assistance, slide sheets and hoist use. You will have previous experience in complex and challenging behaviours Demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload and respond to emergent situations You have flexibility to work across a variety of shifts (Morning, Afternoon, Night and Overnight) Benefits: We offer penalty rates, salary boosts, and discounts and your favourite retailers.
