About your new role Are you a resilient and patient individual who thrives on making the biggest impacts and helping where it counts? We are currently seeking casual Disability Support Workers to provide customers with support within our Capalaba region. You will be assisting customers aid in daily tasks, enjoying our Hubs and providing support through challenging behaviours. Our Disability Support Workers assist our valued customers as they shape and improve their lives. About Capalaba Our supports are operated by our amazing Southeast team that provide several activities in our Hubs, SILs and Apartments for our customers to promote an exciting environment for motivation, mentoring and creativity. You won’t want to miss the opportunity to meet our incredible customers and work with our fantastic team About you Demonstrate expertise in complex support environments and previous experience in complex and challenging behaviours Provide effective communication and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders Experience with PEG feeding, medication assistance, slide sheets and hoist use. Demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload and respond to emergent situations Experience working with children You have flexibility to work across a variety of morning and afternoon shifts You will have the following to qualify for this role Current First Aid Certificate Current CPR Certificate.
