Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Sands Fridge Lines (Sands) are seeking energetic HC Drivers to join our Transport team at our depot in Forrestfield. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the Perth metropolitan area, playing a crucial role in our Metro PUD transport operations. This is a full-time permanent position Monday to Friday with above award rates working for WA's leading family-owned Cold Storage and Refrigerated Distribution business. KEY ACTIVITIES: Safe operation of Heavy Combination vehicle executing Metro DC pick up & delivery services Safely operation of Heavy Combination (HC) vehicles to transport goods across designated routes Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and maintained to the highest safety standards Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations, including driver fatigue management and load restraint requirements Maintain accurate records of delivery tasks, vehicle logs, and any incidents or delays Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods on time and in good condition Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required WHY US ? Monday - Friday with overtime - no weekend work REQUIREMENTS: Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures Have full time work rights in Australia HC licence Skilled in reversing trailers consistently (docks and dolly’s) Ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously Reliable and punctual Sound knowledge of Perth and surrounding areas and have working knowledge of COR, load restraint legislation.
