Job Description Three different options for $100m multi-unit residential projects Long standing reputable residential builder in Sydney Huge pipeline of current and secured future projects This is a unique opportunity to work for a Principal Contractor with a large pipeline of work. The company have been in business for 40yrs and are the benchmark for a quality finished product in the large residential space. Typically, projects are large in size from $50m – $200m. Their dedication to safety ensures that all employees, subcontractors and partners can work confidently on-site, knowing that their well-being is a top priority. WHAT’S ON OFFER We have three different multi-unit projects on offer which are due to kick off and are $100m in size. The candidate must come from a suitable Tier 2 or Tier 3 builder and have a strong safety background in new build delivery for a principal contractor. This builder takes a lot of pride with their safety systems and doing things in the correct and safe way. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE Conduct site inductions Review and monitor contractors SWMS Oversee general site safety Lead site safety meetings Analysing site practice and implementation of improved practices Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measures Help promote WHS&E awareness on site Ensure compliance with the all Site Management Plans Maintain all WHS&E records for the project Work with contractors and site teams to eliminate and reduce workplace risks KEY REQUIREMENTS Cert IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent Tertiary Qualification Sound understanding of WHS&E Legislation and Regulations Must have around 2-3yrs experience as a Safety Officer working for reputable Tier 2 or Tier 3 builder or even a large subcontractor We will only consider candidates with LOCAL EXPERIENCE Previous knowledge using the Hammertech System or Procore System would be advantageous If you would like to find out more and are generally interested in furthering your career, than please contact davidbuildabilitygroup.com.au or call David Shapiro on 0416 214 189.
