Our Opportunity The Legal & Contracts Assistant is responsible for the provision of high-quality, timely and effective contracting support for the documented legal relationship between the Residential Communities business, which is part of the Australian Unity Group, and various external parties (including residents, suppliers, contractors and funders). In this role you will: Assist with the production of resident documents (entries and exits into Australian Unity Retirement Communities) Assist with the production of agreements or compliance documentation with Retirement Communities suppliers, contractors or funders. Assist with correspondence, filing (hard copy and electronic), document collation and archiving as needed. Liaise with Legal Counsels in the team for legal reviews or queries. Liaise with external law firms acting for residents or their Estates. Arrange for execution of agreements by Australian Unity and counterparties in accordance with applicable business processes (including through the electronic contract management system as required).
