The successful candidate will have a keen eye for market trends, excellent leadership abilities, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and profitability. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Assess and curate a balanced product selection based on consumer demand and market trends. Manage inventory levels to ensure stock availability while preventing excess and waste. Implement a systematic stock rotation to maintain product integrity and freshness. Develop procurement strategies and manage the ordering of products and supplies. Establish competitive pricing structures in alignment with current market conditions and cost factors. Create and execute innovative marketing plans to drive awareness and engagement with our offerings. Coordinate promotional events and campaigns designed to attract new customers and retain loyal ones. Track the success of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies based on performance data. Ensure top-tier customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product knowledge. Offer personalised advice to customers regarding product selections and optimal usage. Analyse sales data and adjust approaches to meet financial goals and targets. Maintain precise records of inventory, sales figures, and financial transactions. Review financial reports to ensure the business operates within budget and achieves profitability. Lead budgeting efforts to maintain financial health and control operating costs. Manage the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees, fostering a well-trained team. Provide guidance and mentorship to staff, ensuring high standards of performance and adherence to company protocols. Conduct regular performance reviews and support employees in their professional development. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a secure work environment. Carry out routine safety audits and implement corrective actions when required. Train staff on best practices for workplace safety and ensure adherence to safety guidelines at all times. Requirements: Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or higher in relevant field At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed Minimum of three (3) years of prior experience in a similar role Skills and Attributes: Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.
