Our partner, who is a leading global provider of mission critical air and gas handling products for the mining industry, is seeking the services of an experienced professional electrical, controls and instrumentation project engineer to help manage a significant peak in their workload based out of their office in Baulkham Hills. Your role To provide projects and tenders with electrical engineering design and project management services to required technical and quality standards, within limited time schedule and budget To design electrical, control and instrumentation solutions according to client specifications, statutory requirements and company quality standards To support tendering of mine turnkey proposals by interpreting specifications and assisting in costing in cooperation with electrical sub-contractors About you Minimum Bachelor of Engineering Degree Qualification, most likely in Electrical Engineering, with at least of 5 years post graduation experience in an Australian Standards governed electrical engineering role. Ability to use AutoCAD Electrical (smart features) for design work and drawing update A strong working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards including the ones related to mines and Health Regulation Knowledge of Electrical Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) systems Ability to work independently and as part of the team This is a genuine opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer who thrives in both technical and project management roles.
