About the role The Staff Engineer (Technical Lead) for Trade Lifecycle Management (TLM) Tech is responsible for the application architecture, analysis, design, coding, testing and supporting of software solutions for systems managing lifecycle of Electricity, Gas, Oil and Commodities Trading, while contributing to continuous integration and deployment activities. They also work closely with their immediate team of developers and the solution architect to form and define solutions. What you’ll be doing Design, develop, and test software components across various domains and technologies. Translate product owner requirements into functional customer solutions. Implement and maintain production support capabilities like logging and monitoring. Drive continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements and reusing components. Provide leadership by mentoring developers, guiding career development, and championing process improvement. About You Development Tools: Azure DevOps (VSTS) for CI/CD, GitHub for source control, Terraform for infrastructure, Azure for cloud development. Frontend: Angular for SPA, with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and Typescript. API Development: APIs hosted in Azure, using C#, ASP.Net MVC, Web API, SQL Server, XUnit, Azure services like App Service, Functions, Storage, CosmosDB, and Azure API Management as the gateway. Agile: Worked in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies, familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus. Communication Skills: Strong in both technical and non-technical aspects, collaborative, and attentive listener. Leadership: Mentored junior developers, led meetings and team activities, and managed stakeholders across technology and business areas.
