Progression & professional development within a fast growing company Accommodation & Relcoation cost provided if required Company that fosters a great culture for it's people We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer with strong civil/earthmoving & infrastructure expertise, to join our clients team. You will be required to manage a large project in Bundaberg which our client has secured the full civil package for. With so much work pipelined, there will be further opportunity once this particular project ends. Role Responsibilities: Responsible for the administration of the contract and compilation of claims, variations, valuations and cost review Awarding of subcontract agreements or material purchases, in advance of programming requirements Collaborate with the project team, including field leadership, contractors and suppliers Issue site establishment paperwork, including SWMS, SDSs, QA forms, daily diaries, and pre-start records. Oversee project Quality Assurance documentation and ensure timely submission to clients. Manage project risks, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Develop and distribute construction programs for projects, ensuring consistent communication with consulting engineers, superintendents, and foremen. Monitor and update the program throughout the project's lifecycle to meet practical completion timelines. Skills & Experience Bachelor's level degree in Engineering (Civil) or Construction Management (or equivalent) desirable - not essential Minimum 4 years’ experience on civil land development or infrastructure projects Ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications Strong team player with capacity to plan and manage your time/workload/communication to meet deadlines Demonstrated knowledge of relevant construction principles/procedures and WH&S laws and experience driving health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) outcomes Developed Project Management skills across the PM lifecycle.
