The successful candidate will be accountable for the efficient and effective Administration of Procurement or Inventory Management of pharmaceuticals and, in accordance with best practice standards whilst conforming to Queensland Government State Purchasing Policy requirements and FMPM. Key Responsibilities: Supervising the allocation of work and work of others associated with the Procurement or Inventory teams. Be able to lead a team and promote relationships with Supplier and Internal Customers to ensure full- service outcomes. Lead and direct staff in their day to day activities to meet workload demands and provide training as required. Co-ordinate and/or undertake the administrative tasks and business processes that support business activities. Maintain current vendor, customer, inventory and system records as required and maintain an adequate knowledge of computerised purchasing and inventory management systems. Maintain open and effective communication with warehouse and professional staff, suppliers and clients at all times to maintain effective inventory management practices and ensure service delivery outcomes and customer service needs are met. Ability to carry out a large range of administrative duties with minimal supervision, including the sales return process, inventory management, systems and records maintenance, quality management and general administrative tasks. Source, maintain and put into practical use, relevant reference materials required for the efficient completion of duties using various applications of Microsoft Office software especially Excel. Good organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to work autonomously in a self directed manner, manage competing work priorities with busy workloads, complete tasks within designated times frames and be attentive to detail. Ability to work as a member of a team, foster client focus and team spirit, culture of harmony within the workplace, and build and maintain co-operative relationships. Responsible in ensuring KPIs are maintained and up to date and provide suggestions in ways to enhance service delivery. Liaise and negotiate with clients and suppliers to resolve issues including supply difficulties, delivery problems and complaints to provide excellent customer service levels. Contribute actively towards quality management activities by participating in internal audits, review of procedures within areas of responsibility, non-conformance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
