We are looking for Electrical Project Engineers for a Perth based contract position, working on decarbonisation projects based around permanent power and infrastructure packages. This role is Perth based, Monday to Friday with ad-hoc site travel. Roughly $700 - $800 per day Super Key accountabilities include: Delivery and management of water projects to support the electrification of dewatering assets Technical assurance and review of preliminary engineering, detailed engineering and construction packages. Stakeholder management of internal and external stakeholders, including Operational Projects personnel and contractors, consultants, and the broader organisation. Drive schedule improvements to reduce delivery timeframes safely Deliver cost and capital effective solutions to improve the project’s capital intensity whilst delivering the projects scope on time and within budget safely. Attending Project Planning, Risk Assessments and Kick off Meetings. Facilitating and participating meetings (Team Meeting. Progress to plan meeting, kick off meetings, liaising with Area Managers, Superintendents, Supervisors, Project Managers, Contractors, and Stakeholders on all relevant matters. Completing safety audit and ensuring BMS requirements are met. Provide effective and strategic reporting and communications of project performance. Interpret and implement Engineering design discipline and specifications. About You: Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (3-5 years). Demonstrated experience supporting large, complex and multi discipline projects. Solid technical base with demonstrated experience within power distribution networks, HV, LV systems, intelligent electrical equipment (VSD’s, motor protection relays), process control, PLC’s and industrial automation systems. Demonstrated experience in the mining industry across non-process infrastructure. dewatering projects preferred. Experience with project budgeting and cost control. Demonstrated experience managing external design consultants Ability to successfully engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellence Results driven, responsible and accountable Ability to manage under pressure and adapt quicky to change Great problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
