Role : SAP BASIS Administrator Short Summary: SAP BASIS Administrator needed for global support, SAP module management, and performance optimisation. Ad body: Unique opportunity to join this Global SAP BASIS Team, located in Australia and other countries, responsible for supporting and maintaining a global SAP landscape with over 10,000 users worldwide. Responsibilities As a member of the Application Support Team, you will be based in Brisbane and work alongside the SAP Basis Team Lead. Your responsibilities will include: Installing and administering SAP modules, including SAP S/4, HANA, BW, Fiori, Integration Suite (CPI), GRC, Solution Manager, and Java components Management of SAP technical releases and implementation of support packages and EHP upgrades Monitoring and maintaining servers, operating systems, databases and middleware required for SAP Understanding and applying technical SAP system landscape strategies Managing SAP transport requests, deployments, and system refreshes Optimising performance and monitoring SAP systems Leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) knowledge for integrations and enhancements Integrating SAP SuccessFactors with other SAP modules and systems Implementing automation concepts to enhance operational efficiency Troubleshooting and resolving SAP HANA DB performance issues, including applying patches Maintaining standard operational and technical documentation Experience and Skills Required To excel in this role, you should have: A minimum of five years of practical experience as an SAP BASIS administrator, ideally in a global or large enterprise context. Relevant certifications in SAP S/4, BW, HANA DB, Fiori, Integration Suite, and BTP. Experience with the architecture of complex, high-availability SAP landscapes. Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems. Strong knowledge of virtualisation environments, particularly VMware. Effective communication skills and strong teamwork capabilities. Ability to work flexibly under pressure. Self-motivation with a proactive work attitude. Knowledge of integrating SAP SuccessFactors and administering SAP Fiori. Familiarity with automation tools and concepts applicable to SAP environments. Proficiency in troubleshooting SAP HANA DB performance issues and applying necessary patches. Experience managing on-premise SAP environments and migrating SAP servers. Understanding of SAP Solution Manager and Cloud ALM for system monitoring and administration. Familiarity with SAP HANA administration and performance tuning. Experience with SAP backup and recovery strategies. Familiarity with SAP Change Request Management (CHARM) is a valuable addition.
