Provide SAP Basis administration support, performance monitoring & client copy functionality, NET WEAVER installation/kernel upgrade, performance analysis and memory/buffer management, spool administration database backup/recovery, database export/import, SAP and Oracle installation, technical documentation, and troubleshooting (problem reporting and resolution). Underwent training on SAP Netweaver along with J2EE administration. Plan and execute SAP NET WEAVER release maintenance, system refreshes, client-copies & upgrades Responsible for system administration and support of technical architecture, including Basis support of SAP NET WEAVER and BW platforms, with the goal of providing excellent system reliability, performance, high availability and overall optimized systems. The Role: Manage own workload, accurately estimate effort for tasks, and work with business users on priorities/goals, and work towards meeting those goals Perform system tuning for optimal performance Perform sizing assessments and make recommendations Develop and implement printer, network, portal, and GUI distribution strategies Develop, document and execute testing standards and procedures Assist functional and technical team members with functional and development troubleshooting Perform SAP performance monitoring, including Early Watch Report Generation and analysis Works with team to establish continuous improvement maintenance across all systems Manages the SAP system landscape, including the Transport Management System and troubleshooting Test Management tools, installation, test & defect management setup, integration with HP ALM Monitors and tunes performance and workflow Extensive documentation of processes for internal team on Microsoft SharePoint or any wiki platforms or Guided Procedure Authoring (GPA) in Solution Manager Solution Manager ALM Suite with ChaRM Performs system refreshes; participates in the scheduling of refreshes as requested Good-to-Have · Team management and customer facing experience · Maintain existing business solution in SAP area based on user requirements analysis
