Full-time Retail Manager position available in Sydney NSW 2000 Aroma Espresso is a fast-food business specializing in providing quick, takeaway meals for office employees within a bustling office building. We operate two cafés, one in each of the building’s two towers, offering convenient food options for busy professionals. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of both cafés. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a customer-focused approach, and experience in managing retail or food service operations. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Supervise staff recruitment, training, and ongoing performance, ensuring all team members are well-equipped to meet service and food safety standards. Develop strategies for marketing and promotions, introducing special offers, loyalty programs, and seasonal campaigns to engage office employees. Maintain financial records accurately, including daily transactions, stock levels, and other financial data, to ensure proper tracking of the business’s financial performance. Implement and monitor high service standards, making sure customers receive quick, friendly, and quality service in both cafés. Oversee inventory control by regularly monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies efficiently, and minimizing food waste to optimize operations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular checks to guarantee the cafés meet food safety standards and hygiene requirements. Manage the budget effectively, tracking income and expenditure to ensure profitability and identify areas for financial improvement or cost-saving opportunities. Formulate purchasing policies to secure high-quality ingredients and supplies, while ensuring pricing strategies are in line with market trends and company goals. Continuously evaluate and adjust the product offerings, ensuring that the menu meets the preferences of office employees and supports operational efficiency. Provide guidance on menu selections, offering customers recommendations and ensuring that they have a satisfying and informed dining experience. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant Qualifications. Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between: $73,000 - $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
