This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge cloud solutions aligned with industry best practices and compliance standards. As an Azure Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and developing Azure-based solutions, ensuring they meet enterprise-grade standards and align with the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) Landing Zone and Well Architected Framework (WAF). You will leverage your expertise in cloud technologies and Microsoft solutions to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant implementations while maintaining continuous communication with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Design and Implementation: Configure and implement Azure-based solutions in line with the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and the Well Architected Framework (WAF). Cloud and Network Architecture: Apply best practices for network management, virtual machine setup, and security compliance to build scalable solutions. Security and Compliance: Ensure that solutions meet security policies, compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, GDPR, NIST), and regulatory requirements. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring technical requirements are met and solutions align with business objectives. Documentation: Produce clear and comprehensive documentation on architecture, deployment, and ongoing support. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends in cloud technologies, Azure services, and industry best practices to inform and improve solutions. Required Skills & Experience: Azure Expertise: In-depth experience with Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), network management, and private cloud environments. Enterprise Architecture: Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud adoption strategies, and solution design. Security & Compliance: Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards, including network security, encryption, and identity management. Software Development & DevOps: Proficiency in software development methodologies, applying DevOps principles, and managing CI/CD pipelines. Stakeholder Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders and provide clear documentation. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and secure cloud solutions. Desirable Skills: Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Azure AD, MS SQL Server, Power BI, M365, and Intune. Familiarity with Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) Landing Zones and Well Architected Framework (WAF). Experience in public sector or local government environments.
