Job Description Your New Role We have an opportunity to join our high performing team as a SOE Engineer. You will be responsible in providing application and system support in order to manage SOE Image and Application Packaging services, solutions and support project work across a broad spectrum of imaging and packaging technologies. Primarily SCCM, MSI and MDT. Additionally, your role will develop to include: Manage, upgrade, and enhance environment-wide configurations, including user, device, and security policies, as well as firmware, drivers, and automation scripts using enterprise-grade endpoint management platforms like Intune. Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through prompt, professional, and attentive responses to customers and colleagues. Contribute to and thrive in a high-performing, collaborative team culture. Identify opportunities for service improvements and efficiencies Adhere to ITIL best practices and processes (e.g., change/release management). Perform hardware and operating system upgrades as needed. Maintain and enhance deployed desktop operating system images (both physical and virtual). Lead and support project initiatives as needed. Keep documentation up to date, including designs, as-builts, how-to, environment reports, risk registers, tickets, and roadmap lifecycles. This role is based in our Canberra office. Qualifications About You and What You'll Bring Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a ‘can-do’, pro-active, approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve Leidos objectives. Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, including Intune. In-depth knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). Proficiency in Active Directory and Group Policy Management. Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch). Experience with Windows 10 task sequencing and endpoint configuration. Proven experience in facilitating large-scale software deployments in an enterprise setting. Expert understanding of Windows Modern Desktop technologies. Intermediate experience in SOE migrations, projects, and implementations. Intermediate experience in MECM. Familiarity with M365. Experience in an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, AD, DHCP, DNS, certificate services) and enterprise applications. This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a current NV-1 security clearance at a minimum, NV-2 is preferred.
