About the Role: As a Stores Person, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of our stores operations and activities for site parts and materials. Your efforts will help maintain inventory accuracy, support plant requirements, and provide excellent customer service. If this is you, we’d love to talk. What You Will Do: Inventory Management: Use SAP to locate and re-stock parts, ensuring physical and data locations match. Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock logically. Report discrepancies and perform inventory controls to meet audit standards. Facilitate the return process and ensure proper SAP processing. Inwards Goods: Safely unload and receive shipments, verifying contents and filing packing slips. Receipt goods into SAP and address any issues with suppliers. Accurately label items for direct orders. Dispatch: Retrieve and issue orders accurately, ensuring proper documentation in SAP. Inspect products for damage before dispatch and assist with freight arrangements. Stores Operations: Provide excellent customer service and adhere to company policies and quality standards. Dispose of waste appropriately and follow reporting procedures. Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers. Assist with projects and other duties as needed. Assist with cyclic counting of stock. Run MRP in SAP, raise PO’s for stock items in SAP and send PO’s out to the relevant supplier. Procure ad hoc spare parts for maintenance from existing suppliers. General Duties: Provide excellent customer service and adhere to company policies and quality standards. Dispose of waste appropriately and follow reporting procedures. Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers. Assist with projects and other duties as needed. Who You Are: Experience Must Haves: Prior experience in a warehouse/stores position. Knowledge of relevant software (e.g., SAP). Current forklift license. Attribute Must Haves: Attention to detail, diligence, and punctuality. Good physical strength and stamina. Team player with excellent organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations. Nice to Have: Experience with inventory management systems. Knowledge of procurement processes. Familiarity with maintenance operations. Ability to work flexible hours, including call outs and overtime. Problem-solving skills and ability to suggest process improvements.
