The Administration Officer is responsible for leading, facilitating, and coordinating policy development to support government priorities, reform agendas, and government commitments. This role will contribute to whole-of-government social and health policy, including legislative policy. The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-quality administrative support to the branch and ensure smooth operational flow within the team. Key Responsibilities: Adhere to defined service quality standards, health, and safety policies, and procedures Fulfil the responsibilities of the role in accordance with our government client's values. Provide responsive administrative support Develop and maintain various branch registers, ensuring accurate records and personnel files are retained. Coordinate stationery orders and IT requests. Effectively utilize government client systems to process and audit financial, human resource, and other records and information. Be an effective team member, demonstrate willingness to learn, participate in business improvement activities, and undertake additional tasks as required by the business unit. Essential Requirements for the Role : Experience in time management and the ability to maintain data integrity and accuracy Well-developed interpersonal communication skills Sound knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues Demonstrated ability in the use of a wide range of computer programs, applications, and information management systems.
