About the Role Joining our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team, you will support people with disability living in shared housing in Lalor providing various supports including personal care and daily living. The successful candidates will have previous experience supporting people with disability and must be able to the permanent part time roster below. This position is located in Lalor and roster is as follows: Fortnight 1 - 50:00 Fortnight 2 - 41:00 Roster includes a mixture of shifts including weekend, day and afternoon shifts. Key Responsibilities Follow person-centred support plans and behaviour support plans respectfully Participate in community activities and encourage clients to perform daily living tasks Track and document an individual’s progress through thorough record-keeping Build and maintain positive relationships with our clients and their families Skills & Experience Experience supporting people with disability A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities and personal goals of people with disabilities The ability to develop a positive relationship with the people we support and to support their Individual Personal Plan A current First Aid A current unrestricted Driver Licence Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain a NDIS Clearance.
