With so much opportunity, what is your career path? ABOUT THIS ROLE As a JJ’s HR Truck Driver / Workshop Support (Trades Assistant), you will support our depot and workshop operations in Dandenong. On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to drive a variety of vehicles; supporting the workshop and mechanical team. You will be working with a safe, modern and reliable fleet, serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops. We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers. You will enjoy Monday to Friday hours, 3pm start time – as well as great pay rates (afternoon shift allowance/penalty rates). KEY RESPONSIBILITITES Drive a variety of trucks Move trucks to and from service centres and between depots Road test vehicles; have good mechanical aptitude Confirm repairs have been completed / checklist confirmation Pre-start vehicle inspections Assist mechanics in the workshop with service tasks General workshop support including cleaning, stores and paperwork We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers. ABOUT YOU Current HR Licence Significant experience driving heavy vehicles is essential.
