Jacobs is seeking a Senior Associate Bridge Engineer to join our Transport Structures team in Perth. In your role as a Senior Associate Bridge Engineer your technical skills in transport structures will be of key importance. You will exercise sound judgement and initiative while undertaking both your project responsibilities and design tasks. You will be capable of directing design teams on projects, developing, designing, and facilitating the documentation of complex structural engineering solutions to exceed client expectations. Your focus will be in the areas of infrastructure design, engaging with senior engineers and technical leaders, supporting junior members of the team, delivering outputs and packages for multidisciplinary projects. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other members of the Transport and wider Jacobs team across multiple disciplines, including mentoring of less experienced staff, providing inputs to tender bids and marketing to external and internal clients. You will be required to attend meetings including briefings and disseminate information amongst team where required. In addition, you will need to progress design documentation and use experience to mark up and sketch design intent into project drawings. You will review other engineer’s designs or drafter’s documentation and provide constructive feedback to further develop quality of deliverables. You will be involved in a range of project delivery models across design only, D&C and Alliance based contracts. You will also integrate into the Transport Structures team, supporting the team initiatives and being fully inclusive of team members in other geographies.
