This is a highly important role for the business as they look to build a strong presence in their field, working with some well-known developers and OEM’s across the country. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working alongside seasoned professionals, as well as hone their skills across R0 and R1 for renewable asset connections. This role would suit someone looking to move into a mid-level or senior grid connection engineer role, as well as searching for industry leading flexibility to suit their work-life preferences. The Role: Grid Connection Engineer Location: Melbourne CBD office location (2/3 days in the office) Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 Super Key Skills: At least 2 years’ experience working in a Grid Connection / Power Systems capacity delivering R0 and R1. Experienced using PSSE and PSCAD Engineering maths: Complex numbers, state space, per unit system, sequence transforms. Confident and able to communicate effectively with clients/ Ideally some knowledge in NER rules, including Chapter 5a Likely to be degree qualified in a relevant field, such as Electrical Engineering Experience with Python desirable Why this Role?
