Join the Civmec Team The Civmec Balanced Machines Division has been awarded two Design and Construct projects. The machines are designed, fabricated, assembled, and tested at our state-of-the-art Henderson facility. There is a healthy pipeline of machine projects going forward which Civmec will be involved with. We are seeking an array of experienced professionals across Electrical, Structural, Mechanical Engineers and Senior Designers to join this expanding team of professional Balanced Machines Engineers. The successful applicant will be part of a busy multi-discipline design and delivery team delivering some of exciting mining machine project for our clients. You will enjoy a full project scope of work, including design, through the design and engineering phase of the projects. Candidates from Queensland and New South Wales are encouraged to apply. If you’re ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a pioneering division, we’d love to hear from you The Role Implement the effective delivery of the engineering components of Projects Engineering Management Plan, aligned to the overall Project Execution Plan, including the development of job instructions, and liaison with client on specific structural engineering requirements. Provide oversight, technical leadership and mentoring, to graduate engineers as appropriate; Provide input to the engineering change management processes including control, justification, and estimation of cost and time. Review and interpret scope of works, technical specifications; Drive QA/QC best outcomes for the Company and Clients; About You Tertiary qualifications in Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical 5 years’ design/engineering experience in the mining industry (preference for balanced machines and materials handling experience); Proficient in relevant engineering tools, software and CAD systems; and Able to coach and train less experienced personnel in technical matters. Good knowledge of the company’s engineering tools and be able to create deliverables with these tools.
