About the Role You will be choosing a career with meaningful work to support patients through their Outpatient journey, ensuring smooth communication and using efficient processes. You will experience diverse tasks and gain a level of experience in all areas of administration while forming relationships throughout all areas of Monash Health. 4 vacancies available: 2 x Part Time Administration Clerk 8:30am – 4:30pm (64 hours a fortnight, set days available to discuss between Mon-Fri) 2 x Part Time Administration Clerk 8:30am – 4:30pm (48 hours a fortnight, set days available to discuss between Mon-Fri) This role is based in Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, Victoria. Flexible working arrangements offered, once training complete. Responsibilities As a part of large team, your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Handling patient queries via telephone, in a call centre environment Processing referrals from both internal and external sources Accurate entry of information into a variety of systems including iPM and SMR Handling of incoming telephone calls and written requests from internal and external parties. Liaising with patients and internal parties to arrange patient appointments Sending correspondence to both internal and external parties with referral status updates Facilitate the timely and efficient care for patients in the Outpatient setting About You What You Bring: Excellent customer services skills and ability to remain calm and helpful in a challenging or changing environment.
