The Marketing Communications Branch are recruiting an APS6 Graphic Designer who is enthusiastic about a meaningful role that contributes to the NDIA's objectives to build a world class Scheme. As a branch we oversee the NDIA's strategic communications and marketing initiatives to ensure our messages are reaching our audience across various broadcast channels. Our aim is to provide clear and impactful communications that guide individuals through the Scheme and ensure they feel supported throughout their journey. We manage the NDIA's communications channels including the NDIS website and create targeted communications to provide support during times of change. We also deliver marketing activities that provide communications to participants, providers, NDIS staff, and the community. The key duties of the position include The APS6 Graphic Designer is the leader of the broader graphic design team and plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality accessible products for the NDIA. The role is required to provide detailed technical, professional, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems. Duties of the role will include, but are not limited to: Leading the design team in developing and delivering high-quality, clear and accessible collateral that meets the needs of participants and other audiences and aligns with Agency branding. Managing diverse range of design projects simultaneously, including monitoring and communicating progress effectively, identifying and managing risks by providing advice and recommendations, and managing team capacity, ensuring deliverables and deadlines are met. Fostering creative consistencies and innovative content creation across a range of touch points such as design, social media, engagement and online. Desirable for the role: Experience managing and leading a design team Highly developed skills in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG compliance)
