We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service and Administration Officer for a temporary role in an aged care environment, with the possibility of ongoing employment for the right candidate. About the Role As part of our team, you will provide outstanding customer service and administrative support, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for employees, residents, visitors, and guests. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service Create a warm and professional reception experience for all. Build positive relationships with residents and respond promptly to feedback, complaints, and queries. Maintain accurate contact lists of stakeholders. Handle confidential concerns and escalate appropriately to the Manager. Administration Support Complete administrative tasks, including mail distribution, petty cash reconciliation, and processing accounts payable. Support staff administration: manage unplanned leave, fill temporary shift vacancies, and review timesheets. Assist with recruitment tasks such as scheduling interviews and uploading documents. Oversee the ordering and distribution of uniforms, name badges, and security cards. Safety and Compliance Follow all policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for yourself, colleagues, and residents. What You Need to Succeed Completion of a Cert II or III in Business Administration (or similar). Experience in customer service and office administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Time and Attendance systems (desirable). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster relationships while maintaining confidentiality. Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
