The Role Working with the IKON Waste and IDump teams, we are looking for Rear Lift Truck Drivers who will be responsible for providing timely waste collection services, working to agreed schedules to deliver a high-quality standard of work whilst acting as a Customer Service Ambassador for our clients. These roles are Monday- Friday early morning shifts Specific responsibilities may include: Operating a waste collection truck around Melbourne Provide an effective essential service in collecting, carrying and disposing of a range of waste and recyclable materials Delivery and collection of bins Liaising with client representatives Responding to ad-hoc collection requests Maintain a healthy and safe work environment. Attend to basic maintenance of vehicles. Complete pre and post vehicle checks Maintain a clean and safe operating vehicle. Day-to-day documentation maintained in an accurate and timely manner. The Candidate: To ensure your success in this role we anticipate that the successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Current HR Licence Experience with Rear Lift is essential Previous driving experience preferably within the waste industry Strong commitment to safety Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong commitment to safety Must be flexible with start and finish times when required Excellent work ethic and a team player All successful applicants will be required to undergo a full medical check and police check.
