Develop solution designs and define interface contracts for respective channels. Ensure alignment with domain and project architectures. Deliver cards and payments technology solutions for Westpac’s customer portfolio within the cash and transactional banking division. Provide expert technical and domain expertise to both business and IT. Cover all aspects of system applications. Collaborate with various teams to understand and shape project requirements. What do I need? • Strong knowledge in solution architecture, system design and contemporary IT practice. • Experience in systems integration including Mainframe systems. • Solid knowledge across application, data, infrastructure, integration and digital. • Ability to perform cost / benefit / risk trade-off assessments for solution options • Advanced analysis, problem solving, troubleshooting and consultative skills. • Strong understanding of API & REST API principles. • Strong experience with tools such as Swagger/Open API, Tomcat, IDEA, Eclipse, Postman, Sonar Qube, Splunk. • Experience working in Agile development environment. • Ability to produce quality documentation of solution design and syndicate across stakeholders for review and feedback What’s it like to work there?
