Fuse Recruitment are seeking experienced High Reach Forklift operators for immediate starts in Prestons. Day shift, 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday ongoing roles paying $36 p/hr. Working in their state of the art Warehouse located in Prestons, this is an opportunity not to be missed For you: Prestons location Free onsite parking Monday to Friday role 9am – 6pm shift $36 p/hr Temp to perm after 6 months for proven performers No daily shift confirmation needed from the agency The Role: High Reach Forklift Operator Your initial days will be training across the product line via Trolley RF picking. This will see you understanding the pick face locations and types of product that you will need to pick via the High Reach. Once trained you will move onto High Reach Forklift Operation. The role will then be a 50/50 role where you will be required to complete manual handling and picking duties off of the forklift as well. You will also complete a mix of Counter Balance forklift, pack bench, receiving and despatch duties. Your main duties will involve: High reach forklift 7 racks high Replens, picking, consolidations and putaways Loading and unloading trucks Receiving and despatch Picking VIA RF scanner Packing items Trolley Picking Wrapping and strapping products and pallets Palletising stock General warehouse cleaning up of wrapping rubbish and discarding product boxes Matching and Cross-checking paperwork against orders and signing for delivery for customer orders Shift Available: Day: 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday The Candidate: To be successful in obtaining this role you must have a Valid LO Forklift License and will have the following experience: 2 years High Reach forklift operating Experience 2 Years Counter Balance forklift operating experience RF packing experience Palletising stock experience Receiving and Despatch Trolley Picking Pack bench work Shrink wrapping (Both manual and machine operated) Excellent attention to detail Previous experience in a fast-paced environment Excellent WHS knowledge Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs You must be prepared to work a 50 / 50 role on and off of the Forklift completing manual picking duties to be successful in obtaining this role If this position sounds like you then hit APPLY now, alternatively email Mike on mhadleyfuserecruitment.comwith your resume.
