We are a not for profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee We are looking for a dynamic Customer Service Officer with exceptional communication and administration skills to form part of our team in the St Vincent's Fitzroy Cardiovascular Centre. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability. This is a fast paced environment and we are looking for someone who can work under pressure and maintain excellent interpersonal skills with a strong patient focus. ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE: You will be responsible for the coordination of communication, patient services and clerical functions as directed by the Cardiovascular Unit Manager. Your ability to deliver high quality customer service to all medical staff, nursing staff and patients is essential, and your everyday duties will include: Responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to); Greeting patients and their families on arrival into hospital Booking appointment's for SVPHM's inpatient and outpatients Involved in invoicing and payments for outpatient services Admission / Discharge of patients to the Cardiovascular Centre The successful candidate will have; Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment Previous experience in a customer service healthcare environment, desirable Previous experience in patient record databases (IBA preferred) WHY WORK FOR SVPHM: St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) is a facility of St Vincent’s Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries.
