Our client a Leading WA Energy & Minerals company is seeking a talented Mining Engineer tom join the design team in Perth. This role will be primarily responsible for supporting the execution of Fortescue’s mine decarbonisation infrastructure project, from a design and approvals perspective. Must Have: Australian Working Rights Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or similar. Demonstrated experience in open pit design. Proficiency in Maptek Vulcan design software. Remit: Infrastructure designs. Including power corridors, substation pads, roads, access tracks and other decarb related designs. Fully integrating decarb infrastructure designs into the current mine layout. Management of all clearing and ground disturbing approvals. Liaising with multiple workgroups including the Decarb Project team, Mining Operations and Mine Services, to execute the decarb infrastructure plan on schedule. Assisting the Medium Term Planning team with related pit and waste dump designs, as required.
