The Commission is the dedicated national regulator of NDIS service providers in Australia and a non-corporate entity under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013. The NDIS Commission works with people with disability, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), governments and the sector who together deliver the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Complaints and Engagement Division The Complaints and Engagement Division supports better outcomes for participants and is committed to upholding the rights of NDIS participants, to elevate quality and safety and enable consumer independence. The Complaints and Engagement Division comprises the Complaints and Incidents Branch and the Communications, Education and Engagement Branch. Communications, Education and Engagement Branch The Communications, Education and Engagement Branch ensures NDIS Commission messaging is coordinated, coherent and consistent and highlights rich shared stories, which underpin a culture of inclusion. We create compelling co-designed content and use a variety of methods to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders, including participants, providers, workers, advocates and NDIS Commission employees. Our primary goal is to uplift the capability of the disability sector by increasing awareness of the rights of participants and the obligations of providers and workers. The Content Design Officer is responsible for developing and implementing content strategies, ensuring it aligns with the NDIS Commission’s brand identity and delivering customer-focused content across various platforms. Key Duties of the role Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Create engaging, high-quality, user-centric content for NDIS Commission channels (online and print) Implement content strategies, including defining and testing information architecture for online channels Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyse data, insights, and feedback to inform content decisions Conduct regular content audits and update content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness Capability of our ideal candidate The occupant of the position: Has a positive and contemporary attitude to people with disability High-level attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to develop excellent working relationships with relevant stakeholder groups Manage priorities and adjust milestones as required to achieve key outcomes; adhere to documented procedures and assist in the completion of tasks Has excellent writing, proof-reading and editing skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop fit-for-purpose, accessible and engaging content This role is open in various location within Australia APS6 Senior Content Design Officer Opens in new window APS6 Senior Content Design Officer Opens in new window
