East Coast Apprenticeships are on the hunt for hardworking, reliable and passionate candidates who are ready to embark on an exciting new career in Construction Landscaping Hours: Mon-Fri 6.30am - 3.00pm - overtime available A major part of a Construction Landscaping Apprenticeship role is a variety of Construction projects. Apprentices will be trained in and exposed to: carrying out foundational work, such as laying drainage or installing irrigation systems reshaping landscapes with slopes or terraces and create special features, such as landscape entry statements setting out playgrounds / parks building walls, erect fences, and structures, such as amenities buildings and decks forming concrete features and concrete pathways paving, rock gardens, ornamental gardens plus all other aspects of landscape construction. This trade is very dynamic and ever changing. In the lead up to the Olympic Games in Brisbane 4032 trades such as Landscaping will be in huge demand. Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria: A strong work ethic and passion to work with your hands White Card Current Drivers License and your own transport Physically fit, self-disciplined, and have high attention to detail Reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Benefits of doing your apprenticeship with East Coast Apprenticeships: Fortnightly pay Leave entitlements: annual, sick, public holidays Long term career prospects for the right candidate Upon completion: Cert III in Landscape Construction You will have a dedicated Field Officer assigned for full mentoring & support during your Apprenticeship as well as a full team of staff overseeing your apprenticeship, ensuring you only need to focus on your work and college.
