In this role, you will oversee the development and execution of all design aspects, ensuring that each project meets safety, regulatory, and client requirements. You will play a crucial part in coordinating between engineers, architects, and the production team, ensuring smooth project progression from conception to completion. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the design team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the design process Oversee the design of structural steel projects, ensuring compliance with engineering principles, safety standards, and project specifications Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and project management, to ensure timely and accurate project delivery. Manage the review and approval process for design plans, ensuring all projects meet client requirements and regulatory standards Drive innovation in design practices, ensuring that the latest technology, tools, and materials are utilized. Provide technical expertise and support in resolving design challenges, both internally and with external stakeholders Ensure all designs are completed within the specified budget and timeframe. Maintain strong communication with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred) Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel design, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures, or similar Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, structural analysis, and relevant building codes and regulations.
