As our unrestricted Medium Rigid Truck Driver , you’ll be the face of our trusted StarTrack Yandina based business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that This is a permanent part time working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (3 days a week may also be considered). This role pays $31.26/hr plus overtime rates and 12% super. You’ll be Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility (lifting capacity of 30kg) Completing your own daily vehicle safety check Scanning your freight and planning your run Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups About you You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community. You’ll also need to Appropriate Australian working rights Hold an unrestricted medium rigid vehicle license Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck (lifting capacity of 30kg). Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less Be prepared to under a driving assessment, pre-employment medical and criminal history check.
