The hours of the role are Monday – Friday: 8:25am-5pm plus every 3rd Saturday (3 hours only). In this position, your key responsibilities will include: Counter sales, including customer service, responding to sales enquiries, preparation of and sending out of quotes. Actioning customer requests and enquiries face to face, over the phone and via email. Liaising with suppliers. Stock control, including re-stocking shelves and picking packing orders. Assisting with ad-hoc tasks and management requests as required. What you’ll need to succeed: You have a solid background in customer service, preferably within a wholesale environment, though we also welcome candidates with strong retail sales experience. You’re a driven and hard-working up-and-comer with a genuine passion for advancing your sales career within the company. Ideal, though not essential: Some experience within the electrical wholesale industry or related industries (construction, industrial supply, solar, security, plumbing). You are a fast learner with the ability to build product knowledge quickly You have exceptional people skills and communication abilities, and you are able to communicate with a wide range of individuals. A proactive team player ready to jump in and help without needing the manager to request it. You have full Australian working rights with no restrictions –Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident as sponsorship is not offered for this position.
