Job Purpose An exciting opportunity for MC Drivers to join our growing team DP World are looking for experienced A-DOUBLE drivers to join our Queensland-based operation in a permanent capacity. Open to drivers being based out of Moree, Toowoomba, Warwick or Inglewood. Equipment and shift start will be based in Moree. Experience in container cartage is highly desired. We are looking for applicants for both day and night position to work up to 14 hour shifts (under Basic Fatigue Management) and a current MSIC is preferred or willing to obtain in the future. Key Accountabilities Shuttling full exports and Imports to/from customer sites to change over location or Port Precinct Shuttling empty containers around the Port precinct Delivering containers to and from customer sites in rural and/or metro locations Preforming pre-start equipment checks and fault reporting Assistance with managing Chain of Responsibility and compliance as a Truck Driver Qualifications, Skills and Experience The successful candidate will possess the following: Current MC licence Current MSIC (highly desired or willingness to obtain) Worked under Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) regulations previously Previous experience operating in rural NSW and QLD locations Previous experience in Container truck driving – A-Doubles Previous experience and current inductions to all Port of Brisbane container terminals and empty parks highly desired Current knowledge of the Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements Previous experience using MTData, Guardian and electronic work diary technology highly desired High regard for vehicle cleanliness and personal presentation Be physically fit and capable of passing a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screening including requirements for Basic Fatigue Management medical requirements Supporting equality DP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
